Water Purification Project distributes Safe Water Supply devices such as Institutional water treatment and Household Water Treatment technologies to domestic households in the western regions of Uganda, which were earlier using non-renewable woody biomass and/or charcoal on rudimentary stoves for boiling unsafe water to make it safe for consumption.
Water Purification Project
The Water Purification Project distributes water purifiers to households and/SMEs in Mekong River Delta provinces in Vietnam. The activity reduces the wood fuel consumption of traditional stove users to boil water and help improve public health problems.
KOKO Cookstove Project
KOKO Network Ltd. enable the distribution of high efficiency bio-ethanol fuel cookstoves and last-mile delivery of bio-ethanol fuel through a network of fuel-ATMs (KOKOpoints) installed in local shops. It promotes its use for cooking purposes in households and institutions falling in the SME category in Kenya including inter alia, restaurants, commercial facilities such as shops, public services, buildings and other organizations/associations.
TASC Cookstove Project
The African Stove Company Ltd. (TASC) develop high-impact climate mitigation, fuel efficient Cookstove Projects. They coordinate and manage the distribution of improved cookstoves (ICS) in households in Zambia. ICS combust biomass fuels more efficiently. Due to its higher thermal efficiency compared to the 3-stone fires, it reduces GHG emissions, and the amount of non-renewable biomass fuel consumption required for meeting similar thermal energy needs.
