Tyler Kirk
Co-founder of NOW, Tyler Kirk currently heads up its marketing, relationships, and technology. He believes that travel breeds a sense of shared stewardship for our planet among people of different cultures that will be vital in tackling the climate crisis.
Tyler is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a major in political science and an active Gen Y consumer of a wide range of topics from selected media and peer to peer forum influencers. He believes that misinformation and the prevalence of greenwashing have made Gen Y and Z more sceptical about brands, major news sources and social media, despite it being their go-to source for news.
He hopes to tackle this through NOW’s science-based, data-driven editorial content that will inspire action in the next generation. His strategy is inspired by the Greek proverb: “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.”
