The EarthCheck sustainability certification programme recognise organisations that engage in rigorous, sustainable practices and are more socially responsible with an independent expert audit.
1. EarthCheck Certified is the world’s leading environmental certification and benchmarking program for the travel and tourism industry. It uses a science-based approach to help increase efficiencies, maximise guest experience and minimise their environmental footprint.
2. EarthCheck Evaluate is an entry level program or small lodging companies. After completing a self-assessment on an operator's economic, social and environmental impact, the property will receive an Earth Rating with 1 to 5 globes. An annual independent audit should be scheduled to verify actions and obtain a certification.
