In Europe, Control Union (a Conformity Assessment Body) manages its inspection, auditing and certification.

1. EarthCheck Evaluate is an entry level programme or small lodging companies. After completing a self-assessment on an operator's economic, social and environmental impact, the property will receive an Earth Rating with 1 to 5 globes. An annual independent audit should be scheduled to verify actions and obtain a certification.
