Actions & Collaborations
Care for Children introduce a family-based foster care system in several countries. We help create a positive alternative to institutional care through local family-based care for disadvantaged children. Through a new system of retraining existing local orphanage staff to become family placement workers, we have created a workforce capable of recruiting, training and supporting local foster families to safely care for orphaned and abandoned children.
