Our Reach
The diverse array of tribal communities who expand and conserve pristine wildlife habitat along boundaries of East Africa's mighty wilderness areas. At the spear's edge of human-wildlife conflict, we strive to sustain a balance between their traditional cultures, their future development, and the vulnerable wildlife they live alongside.
Actions & Collaborations
The key in our work is a close collaboration with the communities, tourism stakeholders and conservation organizations. We provide financial support to allow children to attend school.
We help to pay land leases to keep conservation areas while at the same time allowing the local population to keep and income from protecting them, as their income from tourism has collapsed.
Positive Impacts
Conservancy Guardians has enabled to keep 170 Children at school throughout the Corona pandemic, supported the Serengeti De-Snaring program with TANAPA and Frankfurt Zoological Society to remove over 3000 deadly wire snares from the ecosystem in 2020 and over 4000 in 2021. We have built a new cattle boma (enclosure) for the Maasai Community in Mara North Maintenance and repairs at the local Ole Moncho school with our Kids in the Wild initiative.
